A customer who does not wish to be on our newsletter list can opt out at any time. We also use the collected personal data for the delivery of goods and the fulfillment of obligations towards customers.
Personal data is data that Filtrimeister collects in order to identify a person, contact a person to provide a service or resolve issues. Filtrimeister does not process sensitive personal data as defined in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR or EU Regulation 2016/679). Filtrimeister is committed to protect the personal data of customers and users and their privacy. All activities of the Filtrimeister on the internet are in accordance with all relevant legislation of the European Union and the laws of the Republic of Austria, including REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL.

In the case of natural persons, the data to be collected are, if necessary, the personal identification code to identify uniqueness, the name, e-mail address, mobile phone, city and country of location for communication. To process the data of legal entities, we collect the registration number, VAT number, name, country, address, e-mail addresses for contacting and sending an invoice, the names of the contact persons representing the company and their e-mail addresses and contact telephones.

In service environments (web ordering environment and salespoint), personal data is also collected for the provision of services and the identification of persons. Filtrimeister collects data in the course of registered purchase / sale transactions and from persons participating in the loyalty program to determine the discount price and identify the customer (in the sales system). Data is also collected on website traffic in order to improve and make the environment more comfortable for visitors. In the ordering environment of the filter master e-store, personal data may be collected on topics of interest to individuals (incl. Shopping cart content, preferences, attitudes, behaviors, etc.) in order to improve the delivery of expected information and thereby improve customer experience in services and direct marketing.
The technical data collected on the website is limited to the Internet address (IP address) of the computer or computer network used, the software version of the computer’s web browser and operating system, the time of visit (time, date, year). IP addresses are not associated with personally identifiable information except for service environments where this is an additional security measure.
Retention, transfer and personal rights for the data collected
Non-personalized technical data collected on the website will be stored indefinitely. Personal data related to personalized inquiries and / or transactions are stored for up to 7 years after the last interaction with the service provider due to the obligation to certify transactions in the Accounting Act. In addition, Filtrimeister may disclose information about individual users to a third party who provides Filtrimeister e-store services and is contractually obliged to keep the shared information confidential. A third party is, for example, our partner, whose tasks are to transport the goods sold in the e-shop. Filtrimeister treats personal data processed by customers as part of purchases as confidential and the right to process, issue or transmit this data is the sole responsibility of the data owner (customer).
An private individual has the right to examine the data collected about him or her, demand the correction of incorrect data, demand the termination of the processing of his or her personal data and exercise other rights arising from the Personal Data Protection Act. The personal data collected can be viewed, changed and supplemented in the “My Account” area of our website.
